Dominique’s (Niquee) interest in sports began when she was a competitive rhythmic gymnast as a kid. She was originally going to proceed with medicine but realised her true passion lies in how the body moves, repairs, and functions and her desire to be a significant and active part of his client’s rehabilitation and entire health journey from start to finish.
Niquee graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Riverside College Inc in 2016. Post this she has traveled across SouthEast Asia as a sports physio with Ateneo De Manila University, a Sports Medicine Unit in Manila, the Southeast Asian Games, and a PH representative for the Tokyo Olympics, as well as, a sessional lecturer in her Alma Mater.
After traveling the globe with physio Niquee decided to quench her passion for sports and travel and expand her skillset, by moving to Australia to chase her love of the sporting culture here. As much as Niquee loves sports physio, she also loves treating a wide variety of clients from professional athletes to everyday desk workers and everyone in between. She has a special interest in lower limb sporting injuries (hip, groin, knee, ankle), post-operative care (ie. ACL recon, meniscus repair), and exercise-based rehabilitation.
Niquee finds it incredibly rewarding to be able to help people get back to doing what they love or improve their performance in their chosen sport. She incorporates manual therapy and an exercise-based approach for optimal results. Niquee genuinely enjoys getting to know her clients, empowering and motivating them with her natural positive attitude, and delivering the best outcome with a smile on her face.
