Jovan was an avid sport and predominantly soccer player in his youth. Like many, he also experienced the string of injuries that often accompanies such passions. The silver lining of these injuries was he discovered his respect and fascination for Osteopathy, which he attributes to his recovery and sporting performance over the years.
Jovan graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) from RMIT University. During his time at RMIT, Jovan also completed a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance and undertook work experience with a wide range of health professionals. This has allowed him to gain respect for different approaches and modalities and the importance of treating each individual case.
Jovan utilises a combination of education, manual therapy techniques, including Myofascial Dry Needling and Cupping, and exercise rehabilitation to help people take back control over their pain. Jovan loves helping people get back to their optimal state so they can continue doing what they love and perform their best whether it be in the workplace, around the home, or in a sports setting. Jovan has a high interest in incorporating exercise into his patient’s rehabilitation, however, he is patient-focused and tailors his treatment programs to suit each patient’s needs and practical goals.
