Sanam has 11 years of experience as a physiotherapist, with a particular focus on sporting injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. She also has extensive experience in lower-limb post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain, post-operative rehabilitation, and rheumatology conditions. She completed two years of post-graduate training, which was mainly focused on foot and ankle injuries in elite athletes and the application of technologies of balance and movement analysis. In this role, she gained an in-depth knowledge of the assessment of posture, balance, and movement patterns, enabling her to design a thorough exercise plan to restore and refine function and prevent injuries.
Sanam has recently completed her PhD at Monash University investigating the cause, prevention, and management of musculoskeletal injuries, with the main focus on running-related injuries. She has presented her research at national and international conferences and published several papers. Thanks to her passion for research, she has always put effort into applying new evidence to her practice to gain better treatment effects. Sanam has also undergone further advanced training for rehabilitation strategies for runners and Pilates.
