Wayne Song

Athletes, Neck and shoulder pain, Running and cycling related injuries, Cupping therapy

Wayne is a highly experienced myotherapist with over a decade of practice. He is a qualified remedial massage therapist and myotherapist, completing his diplomas in 2012 and 2014.

Throughout the last decade, Wayne has worked as a myotherapist alongside clinic management and as a student supervisor at a massage institute, allowing him to understand what’s needed for clients’ experience from first contact to during treatment.

Over the years, Wayne has developed his own techniques for treating muscle pain and dysfunction, which he does by combining a variety of modalities such as trigger point therapy, deep and soft tissue massage, cupping with myofascial release, and dry needling. This allows him to provide a customised treatment plan for each patient’s unique needs. He understands that no person is the same so no treatment plan should be the same.

Wayne enjoys seeing people from all walks and stages of life, but as a marathon and cyclist enthusiast himself, Wayne is especially excited to help runners and cyclists reach their goals and stay on track with their training programs.

He believes in the importance of maintaining a healthy body and mind and is committed to supporting his patients in achieving their wellness objectives, whatever they may be.

Outside of work you can find Wayne training for a marathon or two.
