Zoe graduated with First class Physiotherapy BSc(Hons) degree from the University of the West of England in 2008, and spent the following 7 years working within the National Health Service in the East of England and London, primarily in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Zoe relocated to Australia in 2015 and moved to Melbourne shortly after completing her Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy at Curtin University, WA, and has worked in private practice since then.
In 2021 Zoe completed her Master’s in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from LaTrobe University, and was awarded recognition as a Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist from the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA). The APA Physiotherapist Title is a measure of career progress awarded to a physiotherapist who is highly qualified in a particular area of practice and who has undergone a rigorous process to demonstrate their physiotherapy experience and knowledge.
Zoe has a special interest in treating head, neck, and shoulder pain and has completed extensive postgraduate training in these areas. These include completing her Watson Headache Level 1, 2, and 3 training, and subsequently being awarded the title of Certified Watson Headache Approach Practitioner in 2017. Zoe has undertaken training with other leading Physiotherapists in the field of headache and neck pain including; Toby Hall, Gwendoline Jull, Michelle Stirling, Trish Wisby-Roth, Shaun O’Leary, and Peter Selvaratnam. Zoe has also completed her level 1 (Lynn) Watson Shoulder course.
Running is Zoe’s happy place, and she has completed post-graduate training in running physiotherapy as well as felt the pain of running injuries herself! A stress fracture in 2011 led Zoe to Pilates, and as a Pilates convert, Zoe has now been teaching for 13 years and is a certified Pilates instructor with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) and is our Pilates master trainer here at Premier. Zoe has a calm and considerate approach and is passionate about empowering her patients with knowledge and understanding, tailoring her approach to each unique individual. Zoe is happiest in nature and enjoys hiking, surfing, running, and Yoga
