The Enhanced Primary Care Initiative (EPC) now called Chronic Disease Management Plan allows patients to be eligible for a Medicare rebate for treatments. If your GP feels that you would benefit from treatments, you are entitled to a rebate from Medicare for a maximum of 5 treatments in a calendar year. Appointments are payable at the time of treatment and we can process the medicare rebate on the spot for you. Bulk billing is only available for clients who have a valid concession card (pensioner or health care).
We have a HICAPS facility for on the spot health fund claims. Please present your card and you will only be required to pay the gap for your treatment.
Payment is required at time of consultation, cash facilities, credit and EFTPOS are available. Visa, Mastercard and AMEX are accepted.
Most allied health services are claimable through private health extras cover. Please check with your health fund on the rebate you will receive for a particular service.
We provide treatment to TAC claims as long as we have; a claim number, a referral from your GP stating the appointment is required in relation to your TAC injury, date of accident and proof that you have paid the first $564.00 to TAC. TAC patients who were not admitted to hospital are required to reach a threshold of $564 out of pocket expenses before TAC will fund treatment.
Accounts must be settled in full at the time of consultation and clients will then need to arrange for re-imbursement by TAC.
If you have suffered a workplace injury presently or in the past we can treat you and design a return to work program for you.
Please bring with you to your first consultation:
- A referral from your GP
- Your Claim Number if you have one
- The name of the Insurer looking after your claim
- The name of your employer and verification that your employer is prepared to pay for your visit
- The Date of Injury
- A copy of your Work Cover Certificate from your doctor
- Any correspondence you have received from Work Cover, your insurer or workplace which relates to your injury
Treatments are either paid at the time of consultation or paid in advance and clients then seek reimbursement.
