Ahmed Kelly is one of Australia’s most recognized Paralympians, competing in the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympics as a member of the Australian team. Nicknamed “Liquid Nails”, Ahmed has also competed in the 2010 and 2011 Australian National Championships, finishing first in the 100 metre breaststroke event and setting a world record on both occasions. He represented Australia at the 2012 Summer Paralympics and the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games in four events, placing fourth in the Men’s 50m Breaststroke SB3, seventh in the Men’s 50m Breaststroke SB3 and sixth in Mixed 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay.
